RIBERG SP 10 Polyurethane Adhesive

Description

RIBERG SP A (Component A) is a mixture of polyether polyols containing a catalyst and functional additives.
RIBERG B (Component B) is used in conjunction with Component A as part of a two-component system to obtain polyurethane adhesive. All work involving the system must be carried out by specially trained and qualified personnel using functional specialized equipment.
For professional use only.
The adhesive is designed for mechanical application using trowel spreading or mixing in a mixer head. The production line for manufacturing construction sandwich panels should provide the delivery of adhesive in the appropriate weight or volume ratio of components and ensure the necessary temperature conditions.

Application Recommendations

The line speed is selected by calculation, considering that the time from the moment of adhesive application to the surface until the panels enter under the press should be shorter than the open time.

The reaction time may decrease with increasing temperature and humidity, as well as with an increase in the amount of applied adhesive.

The reaction time may decrease when mixing the adhesive in the mixer head at high component delivery pressure.

The bonding surfaces must be dry, free of contaminants, and, if necessary, degreased.

Packaging and Storage

The transportation and storage of system components must comply with current regulatory requirements.
The transportation of system components is carried out exclusively in enclosed vehicles. Transportation and storage of system components should be conducted at temperatures not lower than +15°C (for Component “1”), not lower than +20°C (for Component “2”), and not exceeding +30°C. Protect from freezing and direct sunlight exposure. The components of the system are highly hygroscopic!

Prevent contact with moisture and natural air humidity!
It is FORBIDDEN to store opened packaging with remnants of system components for subsequent use!

The shelf life of system components is 12 months for Component “B” and 12 months for Component “A” (provided they are stored in a dry, heated room in a sealed original package) from the date of manufacture. After the specified shelf life, system components must be checked for compliance with technical specifications, and if their suitability is confirmed, they can be used as intended.
