RIBERG GL Polyurethane Adhesive

Description

RIBERG GL A ((Component A) is a mixture of polyether polyols containing a catalyst and functional additives
RIBERG GL B (Component B) is used in conjunction with Component A in a 2-component system to obtain a polyurethane adhesive. All work using the system must be carried out by specially trained, qualified personnel using properly functioning specialized equipment.
For professional use only.
Effectively binds filler particles, forming a strong, frost-resistant, and water-resistant coating. Used for creating pedestrian zones, paths, and platforms, landscape objects, as well as for fixing and preventing gravel spillage in the construction of roads and railways.

Application Recommendations

The base must be strong, clean, dry, and free from substances that reduce adhesion, with a moisture content of up to 4%. The mechanical load-bearing properties of the base must correspond to the conditions of long-term operation of the finished coating.
It is strictly prohibited to perform work in wet weather, during and after rain, in the presence of fog, and water haze.
The stone chippings must be pre-dusted (washed) and dried. The presence of dust and residual moisture on the surface of the filler dramatically reduces adhesion, up to complete delamination of the polymer film over time.
The filler is placed in a mixer, where it is added and mixed for 5-7 minutes until the filler is completely moistened. After that, the composition is evenly distributed over the surface with the required thickness. After 10-20 minutes, the coating should be compacted with a roller or other method to create a smooth surface.

Packaging and Storage

Transportation and storage of system components must comply with current regulatory requirements. Transportation of system components is carried out only in enclosed transport. Transportation and storage of system components should be at temperatures not lower than +15 °C (for component “1”), not lower than +20 °C (component “2”), and not higher than +30 °C. Protect from freezing, direct sunlight. The system components are highly hygroscopic!
Protect from contact with moisture and natural air humidity! It is FORBIDDEN to store opened packaging with remnants of system components for subsequent use!
Warranty shelf life of system components: 12 months for component “B” and 12 months for component “A” (provided they are stored in a dry, heated room in a tightly closed original package) from the date of manufacture. After the specified shelf life, the system components must be checked for compliance with technical specifications, and if their suitability is confirmed, they can be used for their intended purpose.
